Sponsorship for the Société des membres de la Légion d'Honneur’s Cruise & Dinner on the "Ducasse sur Seine” and Private Tour of the Opéra Garnier in Paris - 15 June 2025
On the eve of the SMLH 2025 General Assembly, a special moment of warmth and conviviality was dedicated to members visiting from abroad. On 15 June 2025, participants were invited to a private tour of the Opéra Garnier, which proudly celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. This exclusive visit granted rare access not only to the sumptuous interiors but also to behind-the-scenes spaces, including the backstage corridors and artists’ dressing rooms - areas ordinarily closed to the public, even during the famed heritage tours.
Later that evening, the gathering continued with a refined welcome cruise and dinner aboard the "Ducasse sur Seine." Against the enchanting backdrop of Paris by night, members shared in an atmosphere of friendship and elegance, staying true to the spirit of unity and excellence that defines our institution. This occasion also celebrated the art of French gastronomy, offering international guests and Legionnaires - many of whom hold distinguished influence in their countries of origin - an authentic taste of France’s cultural heritage.
The evening thus represented more than a gathering; it was a symbolic gesture of respect and gratitude toward the foreign recipients of the Légion d'Honneur, all of whom have rendered eminent services recognized by France at the highest level.
